Presentation of our workshop
With the information and photos on this page, we'd like to introduce you to our business, our world and, above all, our expertise. You'll be able to learn about the different stages involved in manufacturing our range of Outdoor Kitchens - GardenPiano.

The first stage in the manufacture of our Outdoor Kitchens - GardenPiano Afin de vous faire découvrir notre savoir-faire et technique de fabrication de nos Cuisines d’extérieur
— GardenPiano, voici la toute première étape.
PLASMA CUTTING - How does a plasma cutting machine work? The sheets are presented beforehand on the cutting table. The torch movements are controlled and programmed remotely, for precise cutting. Plasma’ cutting is a localised fusion cutting process, in which a jet of gas or compressed air drives the metal up to fusion temperature. - An electrical source delivers a current and an electric arc is created between the electrode in the torch and the metal sheet.. | A jet of gas forces the arc through the nozzle orifice. The high energy density thus obtained, with very high temperatures of around 15,000°C and high arc pressure, are then sufficient to melt the metal. The torch is generally water-cooled to prevent overheating. This technique enables us to cut the 1.5 to 2 mm thick steel plates used to manufacture the parts of our outdoor kitchen modules. The components of our various modules are cut to size and the electro-galvanised steel sheets are used and optimised to avoid waste and surplus scrap material. |

Presentation of our welding workshopAlready hard at work at the start of the year, our colleagues in the production workshop are in the middle of welding components for our Outdoor Kitchens - GardenPiano. In this photo, you can see part of the splashback with the 2 holes for integrating the LEDs and the back of a wood barbecue or plancha module, clearly recognisable by the many in-line ventilation holes, which will prevent your plancha or wood barbecue from overheating when you're grilling... The MIG welding technique used by our welder in the photo, is used to assemble the various parts of our outdoor kitchen modules. Then, to avoid any material overgrowth and to ensure that each part is smooth and free from roughness, the welded parts are reworked one by one by hand, using a grinder. After these steps, a baked-on epoxy paint is applied by our partner, a local painter based in Bischoffsheim, 5 km from our workshops.
