There's nothing like a fresh pizza cooked over a wood fire, using our Pizzas / Tartes flambées oven, to make the most of your outdoor kitchen!
This simple, delicious recipe makes the most of tasty summer ingredients.
Ingredients :
1 pizza dough (homemade or purchased)
250 g cherry tomatoes
200 g burrata cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
A few fresh basil leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
Garlic powder or herbes de Provence (optional)
Instructions :
Preparing the pastry: If you're using home-made pastry, roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a round or rectangular shape, as you prefer.
Preheating your barbecue or GardenPiano oven: Preheat your oven to 250°C or prepare your barbecue for cooking on a pizza stone.

Topping: In a bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Leave to marinate for a few minutes.
Assembling the pizza: Spread the pizza dough on a baking tray or pizza peel. Arrange the marinated cherry tomatoes on the dough, leaving an edge for the crust.
Cooking: Place the pizza in the oven or on the hot stone of your barbecue.
Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.
In the Pizza Oven, 1 to 2 minutes is enough.
Adding the burrata: Once out of the oven, add pieces of burrata cheese to the pizza while it is still hot. The cheese will melt slightly and blend with the tomatoes.
Finishing: Sprinkle with fresh basil leaves and, if desired, a little garlic powder or herbes de Provence to spice things up.
Tasting: Cut the Gourmande pizza into slices and enjoy warm with a glass of rosé wine. Perfect for an outdoor summer evening!
Tip:
For an even more gourmet touch, add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar to the burrata on your pizza before serving it.
